The Attico approaches fashion as an endless journey, a seamless morphing of feelings and appearances in which it is the journey itself that counts, not the destination. Each new collection is a way to explore new moods and declinations of the brand’s identity, not afraid to delve in what, from the outside, might appear as contradiction. Spring 23 expresses The Attico’s aggregative side: glitzy and sparkly as the DNA requires, but in a way closer to the energy of street, for whatever this means within a fashion context. It is not by chance that the images that showcase this collection feature a group of individuals riding the tube, or a night bus: are they going to the club, or coming back from a party? Is it late night or early morning? Does it really matter? What counts, is the chemistry that bonds the group, which is palpable. They’re so close one to the other, they even share pieces of clothing, unfazed by sequins and feathers on boys, and boxy tailoring on girls. This communal feeling, and the unique aesthetic it entices, is what The Attico is after. A The Attico community clearly exists, and this is how it is represented.
