    Work From Home Stretches

  • In between long periods of sitting, standing or laying down while you work from home, a stretch or two will go a long way.

Here are a few poses that will upgrade your home office look. Heels shown here are just for show.

  • The Hands on Hip Stretch.
Upright stretches are best 30-45 minutes after a meal. Stand tall, roll your shoulders back and stretch your spine post lunch.

  • The Mid-Morning Leg Cross.
Take a moment to break from standing and taking calls. While sitting upright, alternate crossing your leg over the other a few times to ease your thighs.

  • The Seated Bend.
Use your furniture for extra support. Sit tall and lean back on a stool. Plant one leg on the ground while slowly lifting the other to a bend. Alternate the legs.

  • The Wake Up Stretch.
Rise and shine to a stretch that helps blood flow to your brain and calms the mind. Lift your legs and hip off the floor by using your hands to support the lower back. Take deep breaths while you hold your legs up, and keep your head and spine aligned.

  • The Late Afternoon Squat.
You’re almost there. Seize the last hour of the afternoon with a few empowering squats.

  • The Business Figure Four Stretch.
End the last business call on the floor. This classic figure four stretch is like a well-deserved Aperol Spritz after a long day. Cross one leg at a time for 30 seconds each for three intervals. Feel the weight lift from your legs, and your mind.
